Spark your pupils' interest in mental health care with our Mental Health Nursing Session! Designed for students passionate about health and well-being, they’ll explore real-world scenarios and engage in interactive activities in our state-of-the-art facilities. This hands-on experience offers an inspiring glimpse into the field of mental health nursing and its impact on communities.
Discover Nursing (Learning Disability)
Wednesday 4 December, 10am-12pm
Introduce your pupils to the rewarding field of Learning Disability Nursing in this hands-on taster session. They’ll learn about the unique role of nurses in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, focusing on promoting independence, health, and well-being. This session is perfect for students who are passionate about making a difference and exploring a career in compassionate, specialised care.
Introduce your pupils to the exciting world of Cyber Security and Networks
Wednesday 4 December, 2pm-3pm
Split into two hands-on workshops, students will first explore the fundamentals of networking, followed by a digital forensics activity where they’ll use tools like OpenStego and DeepSound to hide and reveal messages in image and audio files. This one-hour session offers a compelling insight into the essential skills of cyber security and digital forensics. An optional 45-minute campus tour will be available afterward for those interested in exploring our university environment more.
Experience Applied Psychology
Wednesday 11 December, 2pm-4pm
